The Story
The Lost Children of España is a historical novel that incorporates Native American thought and mythology. The story spans the 800's AD to modern day, following family lineage from Spanish citizenship to citizens of the United States of America. These families experience death, war, love, lust and all elements of life as they journey through time.
The Lost Children of España should be read with an open mind. Let your imagination flow and place yourself within the perspective of the characters.
About the Author
David Sanchez is an American author born in Denver, Colorado. In grade school he was educated by the Sisters of Loretto and through high school and college, he was educated by the Jesuits. In college, he began thinking of writing The Lost Children of España. After more than a twenty-year career in criminal justice, he began working on the book. He spent five years planning the story in his mind, five years doing research and another five or so years of actual writing.
David currently lives in the small town of Sedalia, Colorado with his life parter Valerie of which he has spent more than 50 years with. They are both currently retired and are happily living in the Colorado mountains and enjoy interacting with the wildlife around them.
